Peder Torgersen from Frivoll outside Grimstad aged 55
and an active user of some special bicycles.

Text & Photo: Øyvind Larsen

He works as a draftsman in Nymo A / S where he also participates in the corporate group to managers.
He is a certified both as plumber, mechanic and sheet metal worker, but has now been working for five years for preparation of pipe production at the company and likes his job.
He is every year with the campaign "Cycle to Work" and he also competes in some local races.
The first year he was with the cycle to work campaign, he won a hybrid bike.
Sometimes he uses a unicycle, and it is not easy because you need good balance.
He imports recumbents and commutes on his Softrider and sometimes his unicycle.
He has 4 km to work. The unicycle is slow so it takes a half hour to work.
He has had several comments from car drivers. The last one was one driver that stopped rolled down the car window and asked if he could not afford two wheels! He smiled and said no today he couldn’t afford two.

nice article

Hi Peder,
that's a nice article. Always good to save money on wheels when you can. Smile
