New(to me) S40, first mbb, first ride in 18 months. What could possibly go wrong?

Agree! 13 years ago, it was like re-learning to ride a bicycle. Welcome to the family and enjoy the next adventures!

    Waiting for my New S40!

Best investment ever! I only wish that it was available back in 2009 when riding a Silvio 1.0. It was never really a problem while riding, but it could be an unwieldy beast when stationary. The legendary flop has been eliminated.

    S40 and Wahoo Kickr compatibility

Agree, I have a KICKR. It is fully compatible with S40 V1. I would imagine it would be the same for a S40 V2.

My new S40 build - early impressions

Agree, very nicely done! I would like to give 650b wheels a try for some trail riding, but my build is configured with caliper brakes. 28s are too narrow for the sandy coastal soil.

    S40 brakes

A Tektro R559 Long Arm works well.

    S40 for Sale in NC

Sorry to see fellow S40 in the Wilmington area move on. We arrived in the area early in the year from NVA. It looks very clean. You should have no problem selling it. Best of luck!

    Steadyrack Classic Bike Rack

So, I may need to amend my review. I cannot seem to keep my front tire, a Hutchinson Sector 28 (tubeless), inflated more than two days while it is on the rack. I have a Conti 5000TL that I can try, but would prefer not to since the Hutchinson is in excellent shape. Before anyone asks, I did...

    Steadyrack Classic Bike Rack

Excuse the delay, it is a modified (trimmed) carbon THCX Bicycle handlebar. Center to center the bar ends are approximately 17.25 in/43.815cm. It takes some discipline to ride, since it a tight fit. Thanks

    Steadyrack Classic Bike Rack

Our move from VA to NC left us with less storage space. The Streadrack seems to be an excellent vertical storage solution. For now, the trikes remain on the ground except for the beast (GTT). I used two riggings from HF.

    Getting Off the Fence

Occasionally, you can find someone on Bentrider.com's Message Board selling WC parts. You may want to check it out occasionally. I purchased some spares from Burrows before they closed shop. I softened ride up front, but I prefer running the rear at 100 psi. At higher speed you can drift around...

    Getting Off the Fence

Below are a couple pics of my WC. Hopefully, they are of use to you with regards to the water bottle cages. Sorry, I cannot offer assistance with ideas associated with tool storage or the mirror mounting. I use the rear fairing for storage and the front fairing has left mounted mirror...

    Tires for S40

I am running TL 700x28s. The tire has great grip, nice ride. They seem to be very puncture-resistant.
