@LarryOz Can you speak to the difference between the older v20 and s40 seats? Do they have the same back to seat angle? with only an extension seat pan on the s40 or is it a different angle too?
Hello @RobertM and welcome!
As @cpml123 mentioned that is the stock pad. It works reasonably but the ventisit pad is an improvement. I don't have one from Cruzbike so I don't know how many layers they stock but either thickness will be an improvement. If you purchase from Cruzbike the...
Two thoughts:
1. Robert was only riding no hands. Eating relish while riding no hands on a Cruzbike - that would be more difficult!
2. End note for the video: Demonstration given by a professional Cruzbiker. Do not try this at home - find a nice smooth lawn, preferably with no trees and far...
@thartson This is absolutely true. Spinning decreases the force on everything including the knees. As a triathlete you probably already know that. If variety of motion is good in your situation then a Cruzbike will be better than a rear wheel recumbent because the hip angle can change...
Welcome @aarond76,
Most important, I think, is that you talk to @Robert Holler or someone else at support @cruzbike.com regarding what is best for your weight, height, and X-seam as the different models are not exactly the same fit.
Some quick answers.
1) All models are perfect for the type...
You have to do serious cleaning with solvents or detergents multiple times and with some soak time to get the “prelube” out. Some have said it can be easier to remove after a few rides. But once there is nothing but wax ... ahhh so clean and simple.
Welcome,
It sounds as though you are probably interested in the v20c (no-holds-barred race / TT super-bike) or s40 (road all arounder / race bike with enough connection points to do commuting or loaded touring as well).
I own an s40 and Q and tend to agree with you in general. The Q handle...
I’d bet a lot of money that PM says “Please ride for team Cruzbike for ZRL.”
I too hope to see you on Zwift when you are ready. That aerobelly powerup still hasn’t made it into Zwift’s lexicon.
Hi Bill,
I don’t know anything more than a little reading and riding in the wind so take this question as from an untrained source.
How have you addressed cross winds? Does the design incorporate balancing side wind loading and steering in some way?
I never had anything to measure my power output on my diamond frame bikes. However, I have read much of this forum and some report, like you, little to no difference, some initial loss of power until they adapt (get ‘bent legs), and some report lower power (it seems the more laid back the more...
Echo. You will have no problems whatsoever if my experience is to be believed. You may notice very minor handling changes but you will see them as all positive during your first ride or shortly thereafter. The only one that could possibly be a negative is the longer wheelbase of the s40 if you...
