I have a 2015 Red Vendetta that I purchased from Cruzbike as a frame set. I assembled the bike without washers on either side of the pivot clamp. I downloaded the assembly instructions on January 4, 2015. The use of washers was not mentioned.

If the pedals from your old bike allow you to clip in you are going to like the experience.

Just staying with the same brand of chainring should avoid any incompatibilities.

I use a 50/34 chainring and find it provides plenty of low end for the hills I climb.

"It appears as though it should fit the same." You are correct! When I had installed the Moose Pack I had removed Velcro attached to the frame where the straps are positioned. The Velcro and the straps are thus a single level which the seat rests upon. Thanks

If location and traffic will allow, you can start downhill and with enough speed make a U-turn.
