future lighter frame design?

Hi

I was browsing 29 MTB's because i love the big tires. I know the cruzbike kit cant support a 29" wheel, so it quickly turned into... what if the frame design could be made lighter? Or make it easier to mount a normal rack at the bike.

I found one frame i want to use as an example, because it can at least easily have a normal rack.

However the seat height would still be somewhat high, aka, the height of the wheels, just as it is now, but with 26 inch wheels and not 29 inch wheels.

I was thinking of a small light diamond that you put the seat ontop. I think that since the bar that holds the seat right now is only suspended in one side, it needs to be thicker and heavier. Having a small diamond frame would make it more solid.

The small diamondframe would probably makes the room for the suspension pretty small, but i would solve that by using the space behind the seat to mount the swingarm that presses down on the suspension, just like on the picture, except above the horizontal seat bar, not below as on the picture.

Another possible option could be just to let the suspension press against the seat? something along like this picture
