Modifiying the adjustable headrest

I have a S30 with a custom seat, a Volae and as you can see it's a bit more upright than the stock seat. It came with a head rest but it's too low for me. So I ordered the Cruzbike adjustable head rest, but it too was too low and too far away from the seat. So I bought a piece of 1.5inch AL bar from my local HomeDespot and measured, cut and drilled, and painted. I'm still fiddling with the location but it seems like it's going to be a lot better. I may put the old headrest back in a lower support position. We'll see.
Anyway, the measurements are 9inches for the bar, a 1/4th inch hole for the lower bolt and two 3/16th for the headrest screws. YMMV.

Yes, they came with the bike. I bought it used.

From the seller:
"I used Lowbrow Customs 2742 Black 2-1/2" Hairpin Seat Spring, bolted through the back of the seat and P clips on the the two tubes of the frame. I bent a piece of wire to form a horizontal strap just in case they wanted to spread but I need not have worried"
