Hi Team
You are most of the way up today's climb. It should level out in 10 miles and you will be on a plateau. Also its probably 4pm, it will become cooler soon.

Larry and Kevin. You were hand picked, not because you had an open schedule in June. You are both amazing bikers. I have witnessed Beep, Beep, crank out a fast 100 miles in sebring only to continue to finish an impressive 12hr ride.

Rest is coming, cooler temps are coming. Air that has oxygen in it is coming. Hang in there.

incredible effort in seriously difficult energy sapping conditions.

Praying for your safety team.

You will do it you can do it. Look after each other.

Such a beautiful story unfolding to inspire our shared humanity.

Thankyou. Go go go team.

Another long night about to be over. Waiting for Jim and Maria to finish in
The monument valley area at 9:00am ram time aka EDT.

Larry had the first flat last night. A front tire doing 35mph down hill. Tubeless tires on Boyd wheels did their thing. No crash just road it to a stop and got on his backup bike.

In the dark? Flat tires in the dark suck.

Well the good thing is Larry probably didn't lose much time with that flat.

Formulae F1 racing cars get FOUR tyres changed in under 3 secs!!!

How long do the Tour De France Trained Mechanics take for a Rear Drive wheel change?

How long did Ratz take, and did he push you off?
Has he been practicing his wheel changes?

I assume that is why ALL the wheels are the same!

It is VERY Good that the flat did not cause Larry to add yet another scar to his body!
Did it happen on a straight decent?

But if you look at the 3k donate tracker
OK,,, how did I miss it ????
I donated on the 3k page to the cruzbike team , and got my e-mailed receipt, but never saw a button , or a code , or a link ????
did I mess up by not adding a comment to my donation ???
any clues ?

I always ride the V with tubeless tires. It's money well spent. The only trouble is sometimes the sealant makes the valve weak so it could break for instance when pumping up the tires.

If it was a rear wheel just change it out. You don't want to muck around with wheel covers.

Front wheels that we dearly love might need more of assistance.

Hi Ratz
Time to reset the Quarq on the 3K4cure site for us players at home.
Hi team. It's lunchtime in Indiana. It's sunny, 78 with a gentle breeze out of the west. Come and get it.

YOU GOT THIS TEAM!
#Cruzbike3KC watching you from Idaho. You are looking great! Keep up the amazing work for an important cause. Pretty soon you will be kicking serious butt on the plains. Larry, so glad the flat didn't cause a crash. WHEW.
On second thought, you are kicking some serious butt in the mountains. Amazing!

Once those mountains have gone, the cruzbikes will come into their own
