Sofrider versus Freerider

The Sofrider and Freerider frames are identical apart from the handlebar system. Component specifications vary.

If you like the look and feel of the wider chopper bars, then the Freerider is for you. If you like the more compact and conservative image of the smaller bars, then the Sofrider is your choice. But, also, the Freerider handlebar provides more vertical adjustment. For more comfortable wrists and arms the Softrider's ability to adjust the angle of the grip (by rotating the handlebars in their clamp) is perhaps better, while the open cockpit feel of the Freerider that allows you to lean forward unimpeded is also an advantage. One other important consideration when choosing which model is right for you is the additional leverage you will gain on the Freerider. This is helpful if you do a lot of slower maneuvering.
