I have just finished my conversion kit project and had the bike out for test runs over the weekend. I would like to move my seat back to change the weight distribution. In order to do that I would need a slanted seat post. The ones that I am finding on the Internet do not seem like they would right. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Jeff,

Pick up an extra seat post then cut a pie section out and reweld the post.
That is what I did with my first conversion and it worked great.

Re: Laid Back Seat Post

Rod,

Thank you for the advice. I have been working on my conversion and am surprised how the smallest of changes can make a dramatic change in how the bike rides. As a long time recumbent rider, 15 years, this is by far the best riding machine that I have ever been on.
