Newbie Needs to know if this is an acceptable donor bike

    Newbie to CruzBikes here. Would this bike make an acceptable donor bike. Sorry I could not get the picture to up load so I attached an ebay link. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

    That's as good as they get nowadays...

    top tube below the height of the bottom of the head tube - check.

    non- disk brakes - check.

    non- one-piece crank - check.

    simple front fork dropouts - check.

    threadless fork stem - check.

    Good choice.

    Thank you Doug! I thought it might be a good choice for my first attempt at a conversion. But it sure is good to have an expert confirm that it will work before plunking down cash.

    I'm 6'3" and have a inseam of 32-33".

    Thanks! This whole process is pretty intimidating for the uninitiated and you tend to question each decision so it is good to hear encouraging words from those who have been through the process. I greatly appreciate it!
