T50 COMPLETE: The T50 complete ships with components pre-installed. Plan for 2-3 hours for assembly if you are a novice. Experienced mechanics will be able to complete the assembly in about 30 minutes. Ships worldwide.
T50 FRAMESET: The essential building blocks to build (or have your local bike shop build) your next favorite bike. The T50 Frameset includes frame, front triangle, riser, stem, handlebar and seat assembly and cushion. Source your own components and have a mechanic build your T50. Ships worldwide.
To complete your build you will need: Shifters, Cassette, Chain, Rear Derailleur, Crankset and Bottom Bracket, Pedals, Disc Brakes with Rotors, Grips, Brake Levers, 26" Wheels, Tubes, Tires, Brake Cables (Rear is a long length), Cable Housing.

In my late 60s I needed a recumbent bike for medical reasons. The T50 has been great. There was a learning curve, getting used to the structure, but it wasn’t long before I was getting around town pretty readily. At this point, I’ve logged plenty of miles and have it set up in the basement to get some winter training in. I’m coming up on a year with it and am looking forward to getting back outside in the spring.
I was worried about whether I would really be able to ride it when I purchased it. But that was dispelled after a few rides. This model has a short 26-inch wheelbase, allows for tight turning, and runs briskly. You can also leisurely stroll around. It seems that tires up to 2 inches (without mudguards) will fit, so I would like to try wider tires as well.
Wanted to give a quick update from my son's ride which kicked off yesterday - first leg Asheville to Greenville TN, over 4k vertical, 57 miles, grades up to 9%. It took a few climbs and descents to get better adjusted to riding a recumbent but 14 year old Spencer rocked it like a champ, no bias in that evaluation. And, as you folks are used to hearing, he did not have any back pain! Attached is a pic of Spencer on the bridge in front of Marshall, NC.
