Build Tip: What you’ll need to finish your V2K Frame Set

December 3, 2015/ Robert Holler

Here is a lit of items that you’ll need to finish your Limited Edition V2K if you choose the frame set option.

Here is the list of parts you will need:

  • Rear wheel
  • Front wheel (with disc brake compatible hub)
  • Tires & tubes
  • Disc brake for front
  • V brake for rear
  • Brake levers
  • Bottom bracket & crankset
  • Cassette
  • Rear deraileur
  • Shifter
  • Cables (brake and shifter depending on shifter brand/type) & housing
  • Chain

The build for our complete V2Ks have a single chainring crankset, but you can do a double if you’d like. If you do that, you will also need:

  • Clamp on front DR
  • Shifter for front DR
  • Clamp on cable guide pulley such as sold by Problem Solvers

In a build that uses multiple gears on the chainring, the shifter cable housing runs into the cable stop that is already built into the boom clamp, and then routes around the cable pulley.
If you have any questions, email us at support@cruzbike.com. Remember, the complete build is an option, too! The price includes custom build and freight. It arrives at your door nearly ready to roll.
