Cruzbike Bottle Adjusters Work Great

I bought the Cruzbike’s Bottle Cage Position Adjuster when I bought my Cruzbike C45. I have the bottle adjuster set up so that the bottle is as low as possible since I thought it would be easier to reach around me to get the bottle if it is down low. I have it set up with bottles and bottle adjusters on each side. It did take a while to get used to reaching behind me to get the bottle while I am riding when I was first getting started, but now I am pretty good at it. I do still wait until I am on a straight away with no cars passing to pull out or stow the bottle. I do have locking bottles (twist a bar on the top to lock the bottles shut when shaking up a drink mix or when stowing in your car or something). On one ride I forgot to unlock the bottle and tried to do it while riding…a two-handed operation. It turned out to not be a good idea and I went down and got a little road rash on my rear. Fortunately, I wasn’t going too fast, and my bike seems to be fine. Lesson learned is to ensure I always unlock my bottles before putting on the bike or to stop to open it. But, this had nothing to do with the bottle adjusters. They work great.

I have these wonderful mirrors mounted on my Vendetta, S40 and my old Silvio 1.0. I mount them on the brifters which keeps them out of the windstream. A quick side glance is all I need to check on traffic or over taking cyclists (not likely on a Cruzbike).
