  • Packable for air travel —disassembles to fit inside the Tern Airporter Slim hard-shell case (with 24" wheels) at standard checked luggage dimensions, making international and fly-to-ride adventures genuinely practical

Options

A4x COMPLETE: The A4x complete ships with components pre-installed. Experienced mechanics will be able to complete the assembly in about 30 minutes. For those of us who don't work on bike regularly, plan for 2-3 hours for assembly. We also recommend a professional pre-ride tune-up if you don't work on bikes regularly. The T50e pairs our incredibly efficient front wheel drive design with a throttle-controlled rear hub motor, creating the most comfortable, ridiculously fun all wheel drive bike ever made. Here are all the details:

        Adjustable Seat

        The T50's two-piece aluminum seat is ergonomically designed for comfort for riders of all shapes and sizes. The cushion is a one-piece dream that cradles its rider from shoulders to derriere. The seat back angle is also adjustable from 53-degrees to 76-degrees so you can get your backrest dialed in just the way you like it.

            Compatibility

            Drive train: The T50e can take a very wide array of chain driven standard drivetrains. The T50e is outfitted with a single chainring and a 9 speed cassette. With the right handlebar and stem, many mountain or even road drivetrains could be used. The Bottom Bracket Shell is a 68mm standard English thread.

            Braze-on derailleur: There is no mount point for a braze-on derailleur. A clamp on derailleur on the boom tube will work.

            Tire clearance: 2" tire maximum without fenders, 1.75" tire maximum with fenders.
