For the new Q45 recumbent touring bike we upgraded to thru-axles, flat mount brakes and more. We chose 1x11 MTB components that balance performance, durability and value. This setup is designed to thrive even with a fully loaded Q45.

Front derailleur: If you choose, the Q45 can accommodate a braze-on style front derailleur.
Maximum tire size: With the stock 1.65 inch 650b tires, you'll have 12 mm of clearance. Different tire choices will yield different clearances.

Q45 COMPLETE: The Q45 complete ships with components pre-installed. Experienced mechanics will be able to complete the assembly in about 30 minutes. For those of us who don't work on bike regularly, plan for 2-3 hours for assembly. We also recommend a professional pre-ride tune-up if you don't work on bikes regularly.
