The A4x Complete adventure touring recumbent bike ships with components pre-installed. Experienced mechanics will be able to complete the assembly in about 30 minutes. For those of us who don't work on bike regularly, plan for 2-3 hours for assembly. We also recommend a professional pre-ride tune-up if you don't work on bikes regularly.
